Step 1:
Download the image, clicking HERE, and then click on the image and save it. Open it in The Gimp (GNU Manipulation Program). Now go to the menu Colours and click Colour balance, play a little till you like the color skin. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Step 2:
Now, you have to go again to the colours menu, and click on Brightness-Contrast, and now play a little till you are happy with the effect...

Step 3:
Select one eye with the elipse selective tool and go to the Colours menu, and click on the colorize tool, play a little, and, WARNING, write on a paper the values and then click ok, now the thing you have to do is select the other eye and do the same, but this time write the values you just chose down on paper...

Step 4:
Create a new layer, and with the brushes paint the white things of the eye white, and then lower the opacity till you like it.

Step 5:
Make another layer, and then with a brush and with red paint the lips red, and now lower the opacity till you like it...

Step 6:
Chose a nice color for her head, I choosed light green/yellow, and paint it all with the brush in a new layer, and put the opacity lower till you like it.

Final step:
Make a new layer and paint the cheeks red and use the gaussians blur with high values and then lower the opacity. Done! Do you like it?
